Tow Truck Operator

Overview We're looking to add a solid, dependable person to our team at C&M Towing & Recovery. This isn't your typical automotive job—towing is its own world. Every day is different, and you'll be helping people in stressful situations, so being calm, capable, and professional matters. If you like hands-on work, don't mind a fast-paced environment, and want a job where you're actually doing something different every day, you'll fit right in. What You'll Be Doing Operating tow trucks (flatbeds, wheel-lifts, etc.) to safely transport vehicles Loading, unloading, and securing vehicles properly Basic troubleshooting/diagnostics when needed Responding to accidents, breakdowns, and roadside calls Communicating with dispatch, customers, and sometimes law enforcement Keeping logs and taking care of your equipment Handling customers professionally—even when they're having a rough day What You Need Valid driver's license (Class E required, but can be obtained right after hire if needed) Clean driving record Experience with towing or similar equipment is preferred, but we can train the right person Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle tough situations professionally Must be able to pass a drug test A Few Important Things About This Job Towing is different than most automotive jobs. We operate 24/7, which means calls can come in at any time—days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Being available and dependable is a must. That said, we're not here to run our people into the ground. We understand you have a life outside of work.
