CDL Truck Driver & Laborer

About us McConnell Brothers Transfer is a moving and storage company. We are seeking a dedicated truck driver to join our team. Class A and B drivers are both qualified for this position. The ideal candidate will have two years experience in commercial driving and operating heavy equipment. This position does require physical labor. This is not a no touch position. Driver would be the crew lead for moving customers goods from one house to another. Candidate must have good communication skills, customer service and work well with others. Base access is a plus.

• Duties:

• Safely operate trucks to transport goods and materials to specified destinations
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and dollies
• Follow planned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members

• Qualifications:

• Commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Must pass a drug screen
• Forklift certification is a plus
