Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt,, other bulk loads to various job sites and disposal locations. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure efficient deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, demolition, or waste management projects with a focus on precision and reliability. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks Load and unload materials efficiently Follow detailed route plans to deliver materials on time while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, lights, and safety equipment. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial setting. Knowledge of manual transmission operation is preferred. Strong understanding of route driving principles Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections, load handling, and occasional manual labor tasks.
