Truck Driver CDL A - Local/Regional Ellisville, MS 39437 From $22 an hour From $22 an hour Pay starting at $22/hr Paid Weekly Full Benefits Safety Reward Program Parish Transport LLC is seeking experienced and reliable Local/Regional CDL A Drivers to join our team in Ellisville, MS. Drivers will primarily be responsible for transporting trailers to and from manufacturing plants, completing short same-day regional runs, and occasionally overnight trips as business needs require. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport trailers to and from designated facilities and manufacturing plants.

TARPING REQUIRED

Complete same-day runs , with occasional overnight trips, pulling flatbed and dry van trailers . Secure loads to ensure safe and compliant transport. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report mechanical or safety issues. Comply with all truck driving rules and regulations, including size, weight, parking, Hours of Service, and break requirements. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times. Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions as required. Collect, review, and verify delivery instructions to ensure accuracy and on-time service. Promptly report defects, accidents, delays, or violations to management. Assist with truck and trailer washing/cleanliness to maintain company equipment standards, as needed. Assist with basic yard maintenance and operational support as needed. This position is ideal for a driver seeking primarily local work with consistent home time , while remaining flexible for occasional overnight assignments to support customer and operational demands.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A license. 2 years OTR/Regional experience. Experience with FLATBED and DRY VAN . Experience with tarping loads. Proven experience as a CDL A driver preferred. Strong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Ability to maneuver trucks safely in tight or congested areas. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
