Job Description:

We are looking to hire drivers that will be responsible for driving a company vehicle to various locations throughout the state to pick up patients and transport them to medical, treatment, and help assist with railroad trips . Responsibilities Transporting patients and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner. Effectively communicate with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions Maintain a professional image and attitude in regard to clients, visitors and co-workers. Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Assist clients and patients as needed to safely complete the transport. Must be able to accurately complete activity logs and vehicle reports. Must be able to understand and operate GPS devices and cell phones. Perform all duties as assigned. Be available to report to work in a timely manner on on-call days and be available for a full shift on scheduled workdays.

Experience:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a drug test. Previous transportation experience is preferred. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in bus driving or paratransit services. Familiarity with using GPS and Google or Apple Maps. Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and team members. You cannot work this shift as a 2nd job when you have another full time job. You must have 8 hours of rest before reporting to your shift.

Pay:

$9.00 - $20.00 per hour
