Can apply at samiamtransportation.com Responsibilities Operate and drive commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, for local and OTR routes. Load and unload freight safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs in compliance with regulations. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safety and reliability. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues. Utilize various truck types, including flatbeds and refrigerated trailers, as needed. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with tractor-trailers Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers Familiarity with delivery driving and freight handling Skills in loading and unloading cargo, including forklift operation Knowledge of local and OTR driving regulations and safety standards
