Truck Driver

Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route adjustments or delivery issues. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during every trip. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating tractor-trailers, tankers, or flatbeds. Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery across diverse vehicle types including refrigerated trailers and flatbeds. Hands-on experience with manual transmission trucks preferred. Ability to load and unload freight manually or using equipment like forklifts or roll-off mechanisms. Knowledge of route planning and navigation for efficient delivery schedules. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle operation.
