Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver/Warehouse loader to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling orders, doing inventory, and must also be able to transport goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation of all deliveries. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate loading and unloading of materials. Utilize transportation management systems, including AS400, for tracking shipments and inventory. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules. Follow all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery status. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving or related logistics roles. Strong knowledge of operations management within supply chain environments. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
