Join Terrain and drive in a role that offers flexibility, strong hourly pay, and meaningful, hands-on work. We are seeking a part-time reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently. This opportunity is ideal for experienced CDL drivers seeking a position with variable hours, including those who are semi-retired, looking for part-time or flexible scheduling. This role offers a flexible schedule with hours that vary based on workload. Some weeks require full-time hours, while other weeks are lighter, offering drivers flexibility and returning home every night. Candidates who can operate heavy equipment add value and can support more job site operations. Key Responsibilities including but not limited to: Transport materials and equipment safely over short and long distances Load and unload cargo while ensuring proper handling and securement Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections including brakes, lights, and tires Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies Maintain accurate logs of hours, mileage, and cargo Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers Adhere to delivery schedules and ensure timely project support Report mechanical issues, delays, or incidents promptly Qualifications and Requirements Valid CDL Class A or B license Proven truck driving experience with a clean driving record Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance Ability to operate GPS and navigate efficiently Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading as needed Strong time management and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Experience operating heavy equipment is a strong plus Experience with hauling equipment or other specialized materials is beneficial Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting Why Join Terrain?
