CDL A Truck Driver

In this vital role, you'll operate tractor-trailers equipped with manual transmissions, hauling a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and specialized equipment like dump trucks and roll-off trucks. Your expertise in route driving and load & unload procedures will ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including brakes, tires, lights, and load securement Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while managing schedules effectively Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues that arise during transit Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record Proven experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in a commercial driving environment Strong knowledge of load & unload procedures and freight handling safety protocols Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Excellent route planning skills and the ability to adapt to changing schedules or road conditions Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable Join us to be part of a team that values your driving expertise!
