Job Description

Heavy Equipment and Dump Truck Operator (CDL-A Required) A locally owned excavation and demolition company serving the Flathead Valley is seeking a Heavy Equipment and Dump Truck Operator. With a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and efficient project completion, the team supports a variety of construction and land development projects. This Heavy Equipment and Dump Truck Operator is responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience in excavation work, including septic system installation and drain field construction, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Starting Wage:
$30/hour, depending on experience - with opportunities for wage increases based on demonstrated proficiency and performance.

Full-time, Monday through
Friday Essential Functions and Duties:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and other machinery to support excavation and site development projects Perform excavation for septic systems, drain fields, and underground utilities Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials including gravel, soil, and debris Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections on trucks and equipment Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications to ensure accurate work Collaborate with crew members while following company safety policies and DOT regulations to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record Minimum 2 years of recent heavy equipment operation experience, preferably in excavation Experience with septic systems, drain fields, or underground utility work preferred Strong understanding of site preparation, grading, and reading site plans Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 70 lbs Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Get in touch!
