The driver and vehicle maintenance lead is responsible for driving to pick up donations, bringing them back to the store, unloading, and processing them for sale; monitoring all of the following ReStore vehicles and equipment: Box truck, for required maintenance and upkeep.

Responsibilities May Include:

Deliver excellent customer service to create goodwill toward Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley (HFHFV) Consult with the Scheduler and Truck Co-Pilot concerning the 'pick-up' donation calendar Drive the ReStore truck to and from scheduled 'pick-up' donation locations Adhere to the acceptable donations policy Load and unload donations Unload donations in a place that requires the most efficient way to be displayed and priced Work to display and price all donations that were picked up if schedule permits Monitor donations scheduled and evaluate the effectiveness of the donation policy and suggest changes to the donation policy if needed Follow the current list of safety rules and practices as required by OSHA, Habitat for Humanity International, and HFHFV. Require all passengers of ReStore Box Truck and other vehicles to adhere to safety rules and best practices

Required:

Ability to drive and operate all of the ReStore vehicles Knowledge of all of the ReStore vehicles and their corresponding equipment Strong communication skills with the public and team members Overall knowledge of typical donations and how they factor into the profits Ability to lift, load and move donated items from donation point to sales floor Ability to cooperate with an efficient pick-up calendar Positive attitude, with high energy level. Understanding of and enthusiasm for Habitat's mission. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Willingness and ability to work in warehouse conditions including, heat, cold, and dust. Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently. Strong organizational and time management skills.
