This is a full-time position with consistent work, regular overtime opportunities, performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. Position Overview The driver will operate a manual-transmission tractor-trailer on scheduled regional routes, transporting and swapping trailers at manufacturing facilities throughout Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, and Upstate South Carolina. No overnight runs. Drivers return home every evening.
Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Typical hours:
7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overtime available Responsibilities Safely operate a manual-transmission tractor-trailer Transport and exchange trailers at customer and supplier locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and required documentation Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Clean driving record Ability to safely operate a manual-transmission tractor-trailer Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded Strong work ethic and attention to detail Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to perform medium physical work, including: Exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently Climbing, bending, reaching, and securing equipment as needed Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay Overtime opportunities Regular performance and incentive bonuses Paid Time Off (PTO) Employer subsidized health insurance Retirement plan with company matching Additional benefits available after 90 days of employment The published pay range reflects starting base rate annual earnings, including expected overtime and incentive bonuses.
