In this energetic role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to deliver and unload construction materials, debris, or other freight, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your expertise in truck driving combined with your commitment to safety will keep projects moving forward smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of large-scale construction, demolition, or waste management operations. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and flatbeds with precision and safety. Load and unload freight, debris, or materials using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary. Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations while maintaining a positive attitude. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, cargo details, and delivery records for compliance purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate deliveries and pickups efficiently. Follow all safety protocols related to operating refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, or specialized equipment. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience driving manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers preferred. Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route planning and navigation. Familiarity with operating dump trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, or tanker trucks is highly desirable. Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other lifting equipment when required. Knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial vehicles.
