Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently using various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, dumping trailers, and flatbeds. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all transportation regulations while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Duties Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, dump trailers, tankers, and flatbeds. Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of deliveries using Motive, including logs of hours worked and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, conduct, and performance. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience driving various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, dump trailers, tankers, and flatbeds. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations in the trucking industry. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
