Full Job Description Pay:
$31/
Hour Position Details:
Linehaul / Shuttle Driver Operate scheduled linehaul and shuttle routes between distribution centers, terminals, and customer locations. Drive routes ranging from approximately 350 to 600 miles per shift while maintaining on-time performance and safety standards. Transport freight safely and efficiently with 100% no-touch freight responsibilities. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is safe and compliant. Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and required transportation documentation. Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safe driving practices. Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal personnel, and management regarding route status and any delays. Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance issues promptly. Ensure freight security and maintain the integrity of all shipments during transport. Operate tractor-trailers in varying traffic, weather, and road conditions. Demonstrate strong time-management skills while meeting delivery and pickup schedules. Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a positive manner.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Start time: 9:00 PM Home daily (if applicable) Consistent nighttime schedule Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs and route demand.
