CDL Class A or Class B Truck Driver (with no automatic restrictions)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks manual and automatic, flatbeds, and dump trucks. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and timely transport of freight to designated locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Operate and drive different types of trucks including lowboy, dump trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks. Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment as necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B, with a clean driving record. Experience in route driving with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Familiarity with operating various truck types, flatbeds, lowboy, and dump trucks. Ability to load and unload freight safely using forklifts or similar equipment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
