In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods while providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced delivery environment. We are especially looking for someone who can speak Spanish , as communication with Spanish-speaking team members and customers may be needed. Duties Safely operate the delivery vehicle while following all traffic laws and company safety policies. Load, unload, and secure goods properly to prevent damage during transport. Ensure all items are organized and accounted for before leaving the warehouse. Use equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move heavy items safely. Complete deliveries in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner. Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates, arrival times, and any issues. Navigate delivery routes efficiently and follow assigned schedules. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle. Report any vehicle issues, delivery problems, damaged items, or customer concerns to management. Work with helpers and team members to complete deliveries safely and efficiently. Follow all company procedures, safety rules, and client-specific delivery requirements. Qualifications Valid driver's license required. Prior delivery, box truck, moving, furniture delivery, or logistics experience preferred. Experience with heavy lifting and moving large items is strongly preferred. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items as part of a team. Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and client satisfaction. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Ability to work effectively with a team while also being self-motivated. Must be able to follow safety regulations and company policies at all times. Spanish-speaking ability is preferred and strongly encouraged. Must maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company. Mandatory Requirements W-9 Form is mandatory for all contractors, regardless of whether you earn $600 or more. Must complete and pass a background check. Driving record/MVR will be reviewed prior to approval. DOT Physical is required and must be completed before you begin driving. Must provide all required documentation before being assigned to any route.
