OTR Box Truck Driver Mooresville, NC 28115 $1,000 a week - Full-time $1,000 a week - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable OTR (Over-the-Road) Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Your expertise in driving, load handling, and route management will contribute directly to our commitment to reliable service and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for drivers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the freedom of route driving while maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck for long-distance over-the-road deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo using a pallet jack if necessary Manage delivery routes efficiently, planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels to ensure roadworthiness Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip Skills Proven experience as a commercial driver, specifically with 26ft box trucks or similar vehicles Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Knowledge of route driving best practices and GPS navigation tools for efficient deliveries Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; and DOT Medical Card Join us as an OTR Box Truck Driver if you're passionate about driving, delivering excellence, and providing outstanding service on every trip!
