Job Description

PURPOSE STATEMENT
Responsible for safely transporting patients to and from appointments, activity trips, airport shuttle service and other special events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position requires an understanding of the facility's treatment program and philosophy. Individual must have a working knowledge of alcoholism, drug abuse, and dual diagnosis. Is responsible for maintaining systematic means of ascertaining that patients are safe, participating in the program and following the facility behavior model for patients. This individual may be responsible for providing services to patients during the evening and night hours. The security of each patient and the facility is the responsibility of this individual. Performs duties as a team member under the direction of the Director of Admissions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
  • Valid State Driver's License required.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.
