The On Call Driver will assist in transportation and delivery of our vehicles from yards to customers and back to the yard assigned. Benefits include 401(k) Paid Training Flexible schedule and more! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Transport Vehicles and/or packages to and from destinations Arrive at destinations on schedule Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays Use navigation applications to determine the best route Interact with clients professionally at all times Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date Transport vehicles to client's working sites safely and efficiently Ensure vehicles are prepped to company standards for client use Effective communication with staff on vehicle damage/issues Internal branch to branch vehicle transfers Document trips, including hours and fuel logs Inspect vehicles before leaving location Able to follow predetermined routes to avoid delays Report problems with the vehicle to supervisors Qualifications/Skills Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving history Must be available to be on call, no guaranteed minimum hours, if you are unavailable to work when we call, you may simply decline Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and customer service Education and/or Experience Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving history No more than two minor moving violations in the last year No more than three minor moving violations in the last three years No major/serious violations in the last five years No SR22 or other financial responsibility filing Previous experience with vehicle transport is preferred but not required . . . . .
