The A-1 Construction companies consist of 8 separate union and non-union legal entities that perform construction, mining and trucking operations primarily in WI, MN and TX. The largest of these entities are A1 Excavating and Stout Excavating Group. A1 Excavating is a Wisconsin based Underground Utility Contractor specializing in Excavating, Site Clearing and Underground Utilities. With over 40 years of experience in the WI, MN region, A1 is a top competitor for all water main, sanitary and storm Sewer work in the region. Stout Excavating Group (SEG) operates in the high growth aggregate mining industry primarily focused on mining and civil construction in multiple states across the United States. The A-1 Companies maintain offices in both Bloomer, WI and Converse, TX. We require preemployment drug and alcohol screening for all our employees.

Skills/Qualifications:

Heavy Equipment experience required. Haul Truck Preferred MSHA training preferred, but not required. Ability to safely operate, drive and maneuver Haul Truck around jobsite. Possess effective communication skills. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team.
