With growth comes hiring and we are looking to hire a top-CDL Truck Driver to the team! The CDL Truck Driver will be required to deliver equipment, material and or other requested items safely and efficiently in a timely and professional manner.Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates a semi-truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws. Class A CDL with tanker endorsement required OR Class B CDL with tanker endorsement and air and break endorsement required. This position will operate the water truck safely around the cultivation areas Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations. Safely operate the machine in all types of terrain and ground conditions Safely judge distances between the water truck and multiple pieces of equipment Assists with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted. Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete. Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Trucking Supervisor. Arranges trailers in loading/shipping yards for optimum loading patterns. Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of Class A driving or
- Class B with air brake and tanker
- Team Player
- Preferred experience and knowledge
- but willing to train
- with End Dumps, Semi Bottoms, Transfers, Low beds, and flatbeds.
Education and Experience:
- Must hold required commercial driver's license appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated.
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting in a vehicle for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to travel frequently with possibility of over nights.
