In this energetic role, you'll be the backbone of our delivery operations, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient transportation of equipment within local routes. This position allows you to be at home at night. Your expertise in various truck types and driving techniques will keep our logistics running smoothly, delivering excellence to our customers every day. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, and other commercial vehicles for local deliveries. Load and unload equipment efficiently such as forklifts, telehandlers and boom lifts. Drive assigned routes with precision, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure on-time deliveries. Inspect vehicles daily for maintenance needs and report any issues promptly to maintain optimal safety standards. Verify shipment accuracy and complete all required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries. Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior to promote safety and professionalism. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including equipment driver roles with driving responsibilities. Heavy Haul experience preferred. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and handling various truck configurations. Strong knowledge of equipment handling, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols. Ability to drive tractor-trailers with precision and confidence across local routes. Familiarity with forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo when required. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes and adapt to changing conditions. Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and adherence to transportation regulations.
