Job Description
Description United Transport, Inc. is seeking a reliable driver to help meet our customers needs by shuttling loads between locations in the Lincoln area. The driver is responsible for transporting the loads safely. The position allows the driver to be home daily. The successful candidate for this position needs to have 2 years of current, verifiable driving experience, be able to work well independently, have open and transparent communication with customers and dispatch, and familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs). This shift would start at 5pm and be done around 3am. Responsibilities Operate the equipment in a safe and responsible manner Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area Interact with customers and dispatch in a professional manner Complete daily equipment walk around maintenance checks and notify shop personnel of any issues
