Job Description
A Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled on-the-road truck driver for interstate routing. The ideal candidate will have experience and be proficient in operating a Company Straight Truck. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for picking up freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities Operate and drive assigned trucks to pick up goods from designated locations. Ensure the safe loading of freight and secure cargo as necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries as required by regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding pickup schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Manage routes efficiently to optimize delivery times while ensuring safety. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License, preferably CDL-B with a clean driving record. Clean driving record for at least 5 years. We need proven experience in truck driving, particularly interstate driving with a company truck. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
