Company Local Hazmat Tractor Trailer Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Hazmat Tractor Trailer Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating Tractor Trailer vehicle to ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight, local dedicated route. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving tractor and pulling 53' trailers, a strong understanding of route planning, and the ability to handle Hazmat loads. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers for local driving Making sure the hazmat load is properly secured Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before trips Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with Fleet manager regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during trips Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tractor-trailers, Hazmat endorsement is required Two (2) years + verifiable Hazmat tractor trailer experience Experience operating Day Cab, manual & or automatic No major moving violations in the past Five (5) years No major accidents in the past Five (5) years Physical ability to climb into trailers has needed to secure the loads This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safe driving practices and efficient freight handling.
