Hour Description:

We're hiring a Dump Truck Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator to support a large commercial construction project in Omaha, NE. This role focuses on safely hauling and moving material around the jobsite while assisting with earthwork and site development. Steady work on a high-profile project with a strong team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate haul trucks to haul dirt, aggregate, and materials around the jobsite
• Support earthwork, grading, and excavation activities
• Load/unload materials and coordinate with equipment operators
• Act as a spotter when needed to ensure safe equipment movement
• Perform daily equipment checks and maintain a safe, organized site

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of heavy equipment or dump truck experience
• Experience on commercial or civil construction sites
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and equipment operation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with dozers, loaders, or excavators is a plus
• Familiarity with grading and earthwork operations
• GPS or site layout experience preferred
• OSHA 10 (or willingness to obtain — provided)

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
