Non-CDL Hotshot Driver (Over the Road)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. Responsibilities Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Drive various types of vehicles, mainly a pickup truck with a 40 ft gooseneck trailer, to deliver products to designated locations. Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed for efficient loading and unloading. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining a schedule. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred. Ability to operate a hotshot truck safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience with heavy lifting and moving materials is essential. Familiarity with using pallet jacks and other loading equipment is a plus. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
