Box Truck Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Duties:

• Operate a tractor-trailer, flatbed, or other large trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
• Load and unload goods, using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Manage delivery schedules, including coordinating with customers and managing logistics.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
• Meet or exceed customer service standards, ensuring timely and courteous delivery of goods.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record a plus.
• Proven experience as a Truck Driver, with a focus on route driving and delivery driver responsibilities.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment.
• Knowledge of load unload procedures and ability to perform them safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and standing for long periods.
