Seeking Drivers Duties and Responsibilities

Follow traffic rules and regulations.
Drive trucks.
Inspect and make sure vehicle supplies and equipment are in safe working order, including gas, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes.
Report problems or accidents to management.
Collect payments.
Load and unload vehicles.
Check loads against shipping papers.
Get signed receipts for delivered materials.
Turn in money collected.
Maintain vehicle logs, cargo records, billing statements.
Read maps and follow directions.
Report traffic problems to other drivers.
Greet customers.
Have a clean driving record.
Provide good customer service.
Return undelivered packages to warehouse.
Meet delivery schedules.
Follow all safety rules.
Decide on best delivery routes.
Drive and operate a truck 24 feet or smaller.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Manage time and work.
Inspect vehicles.
