This is a 1099 employment, looking for an experienced, knowledgeabl, safe driver. Duties Safely operate box truck to transport freight across multiple routes. Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand tools, ensuring cargo safety and security. Verify delivery details, inspect vehicles before and after trips, and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations; plan routes for efficiency. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues during transit. Maintain detailed logs of mileage, deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections for compliance purposes. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with knowledge of route driving and freight handling. Valid driver license. Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment such as forklifts or roll-off mechanisms Strong understanding of safety procedures. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to follow GPS or route maps accurately.
