Log Truck Driver & Tri Axle Dump Truck Driver for Tree removal company (2 years of experience Req)

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced (Class A CDL) Log Truck & Triaxle dump truck drivers to join our team. As a key member of our transportation operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of construction equipment & materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving and a proven ability to navigate various routes, in New Jersey & New York. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a variety of construction equipment.

Responsibilities:

2-5 years' experience driving, Log Truck & Tri Axle Dump Truck. Load and unload all materials in a safe manner. Follow all safety methods to secure transporting loads. Ensure that you have all necessary papers, keys, manuals, etc. for delivery of any piece of equipment All drivers are responsible for all necessary personal credentials at all times (Driver's License and D.O.T physical card) All drivers are responsible to know all Federal Motor Carrier Regulations Driver should know routing of all equipment assigned to be moved. Maintain and process daily log books as required by law Maintain daily fuel consumption log and hand properly and completely filled out, at the end of each month. Safety walks are required daily, and you are responsible to report any deficiency to management Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times. It is your responsibility to notify management of any requires maintenance, such as oil changes and the like. Operates vehicle in accordance with Top Notch Tree & Excavating, LLC's rules, OSHA and DOT requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws. Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service related issues to Management. Performs all duties as scheduled by Management. Skills/Experien Oral Communication Skills Reading Skills Written Communication Skills Professionalism Time Management High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Valid Class A CDL required. Clean driving record with no moving violations within last 7 years. Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficient using GPS and other routing systems. Certifications/Licenses Valid Commercial Driver's License - must meet insurance underwriting requirements
