Truck Driver

Drive Company truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver and pick up materials. Prepare or sign off receipts for load picked up. Make daily runs to Post Office. Maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations. Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisory to receive delivery instructions. Load and unload truck. Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Perform emergency roadside repairs including changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, spark plugs, etc. Ensures a strong commitment to quality and adheres to all

ISO 9001

related standards. Complies with all safety policies and reports any safety issues immediately to a manager. All other duties/responsibilities as deemed appropriate by management. Displays behavior and judgment that consistently upholds Hibbert ACT values. • Ability to learn cGMP requirements as it relates to their role -- required prior to working on cGMP service lines. • Ability to learn PDMA requirements as it relates to their role -- required prior to working on Prescription Drug service lines.

SKILLS:

Excellent driving record. Ability to use a forklift, electric jack, and hand jack. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must demonstrate working proficiency of the English language. Can effectively communicate with, but not limited to, English speaking employees/other business contacts (contractors, customers, vendors, etc). Successfully comprehends business materials written in English (job assignments, instructions, etc).

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/ GED Required. Heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.

EXPERIENCE
