In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to deliver materials and equipment efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in heavy lifting, manual transmission operation, and mechanical knowledge will ensure smooth and timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport goods and materials. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring secure handling of heavy or bulky items. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify mechanical condition, including brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels. Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols during transit to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports in compliance with regulatory standards. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed using mechanical knowledge to operate relevant equipment safely. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and address any route or vehicle issues promptly. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers. Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong background in delivery operations. Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues. Experience operating various types of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Ability to perform manual lifting of heavy loads safely and efficiently. Familiarity with load & unload procedures using mechanical equipment or manual techniques. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
