In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent service. Your expertise in driving dry van will be essential to meet our high standards of safety and efficiency. This position offers home weekly options, we also offer training to new CDL holders . Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations NO touch freight Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns before and after each trip Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining fuel economy and safety standards Secure freight properly for transport, ensuring load stability during transit Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered on the road Qualifications Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route navigation Knowledge of safety procedures related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and customers Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections, load securement, and cargo handling tasksJoin our team and drive your career forward!
