Driver Pay DOE $28 - $33 per hour Santa Barbara Freight is looking for experienced professional company drivers for pickups & deliveries of fragile cased goods utilizing tractor w/53' reefer trailer throughout NJ, PA, MD and VA. We have many established customers throughout the area, our business is growing, and we need your help to get us there. The position is considered local LTL - some touch freight & hands on freight of mostly palletized cases of wine & spirits. Route is consistent and growing. The route is mostly home daily however some overnight travel is required.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Knowledgeable of New Jersey and surrounding four state regional areas Live within 40 miles of drop yard located in Sicklerville, NJ Comfortable and capable of making multiple pickups & deliveries throughout the four-state region utilizing truck with 53' reefer trailer Highly skilled experience utilizing electric lift gate, electric and manual pallet jacks (this is a "some touch freight" & "hands on freight" position) Reliable and customer oriented Minimum Two (2) years commercial driving experience in the last four (4) years Valid commercial driver's license - CLASS A Acceptable MVR free from violations, infractions, and incidents within the last three (3) years, no preventable DOT recordable accidents within last five (5) years, no convictions for DUI, suspensions, or revocations within the last five (5) years. Current DOT physical card Be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check Be at least 24 years of age (for insurance purposes) Basic math skills for counting cases of various sizes and content quantities

Main Responsibilities and Expectations:

Proficiently use electronic log device Load and unload freight repetitively by; hand, manual jack, electric jack (mostly palletized freight, minimal hand stacking/restacking) Lift up to 35lbs repetitively (cases of wine, kegs, barrels) Count and label freight at pickup/delivery locations Move, build, wrap and stack pallets of various sizes and weights within the confines of trailer and at times trailer to trailer.
