Hiring Class A Lead cover driver $300-$350 a day must be willing to drive 26 ft box truck no wkend!

Responsibilities:

• As a class A lead you will coach new drivers
• Cover drivers on PTO
• Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including box trucks, with a focus on delivering goods to customers in a timely manner
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured for transport
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers and addressing any concerns or issues that arise during deliveries
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate channels
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license CDL A with a clean driving record. No moving violations.
• 3 to 5 years Experience driving commercial vehicles, including box trucks and/or vehicles with manual transmissions
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
