This is not a local route. You will be responsible for multi-day hauls across state lines, with overnight travel required. We operate 26 ft box trucks and are looking for drivers who are dependable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated. Most runs are scheduled Monday through Friday, with drivers typically returning home on weekends or every other Responsibilities Operate a 26 ft box truck safely and professionally Complete regional deliveries with occasional overnight routes Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate status updates Navigate efficiently using GPS and avoid restricted routes Work independently without the need for constant supervision Self-motivated and dependable; works well with little oversight Communicate clearly with dispatch and update ETAs Be responsive and proactive in resolving delivery issues Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) Must be DOT certified Prior experience driving a 26 ft box truck Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must have strong communication and punctuality Must be tech-savvy and comfortable using navigation tools Must have a smartphone and hold decent ease of access Familiar with basic truck maintenance (e.g., lights, fluids, tires) Understands freight securement and safe handling practices Demonstrates professionalism when dealing with customers Proven ability to manage fatigue and stay alert on long drives (OTR) Schedule Overnight hauls required based on route (1-3 nights common) (OTR) Occasional overnights depending on route
