Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tow Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing roadside assistance, and supporting our customers with prompt, professional service. Your expertise will help ensure vehicles are recovered efficiently and delivered securely to their destinations. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Perform automotive diagnostics and basic repairs when necessary to assist with roadside issues or vehicle recovery. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches, ensuring proper handling at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and other team members during vehicle recovery or roadside assistance. Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including logs of vehicle pickups, drop-offs, and service details. Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform minor mechanical repairs as needed. Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe operations on the road at all times. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and diagnostics. Proficiency in operating tow trucks, flatbeds, forklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment. Ability to perform manual transmission driving confidently across various terrains and conditions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts professionally when they arise. Knowledge of load & unload procedures for vehicles of different sizes and types. Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license suitable for heavy-duty vehicles. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and basic repair techniques to troubleshoot roadside issues effectively.
