Job Description
Prestigious Paving LLC - Laborer / CDL Driver Prestigious Paving LLC is a rapidly growing paving and striping company. We are seeking a motivated Laborer / CDL Driver to become part of our Striping and Guardrail Team and share our Core Values of increasing road safety for the traveling public while delivering the highest level of precision and excellence. Job Responsibilities Operate CDL-required vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations. Transport materials, equipment, and crew members to and from job sites. Load, unload, and secure materials, tools, and equipment using proper tie-down, strapping, and cargo securement procedures. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Work with a striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint, and other pavement marking materials. Work with a guardrail crew to remove and install roadway guardrail. Assist with setting up and maintaining traffic control on roadways. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections and report any deficiencies to the supervisor. Perform general maintenance, repair, and cleaning of vehicles, trailers, equipment, and tools. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work independently when assigned and follow instructions with minimal supervision. Perform other duties as assigned to support company operations. Qualifications Valid CDL (Class A or Class B preferred) with a clean driving record. Valid driver's license required. Experience operating forklifts and other construction-related equipment. Experience loading, unloading, and properly securing materials and equipment for transport. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to follow directions and work independently when required. Previous experience in pavement markings, highway guardrail construction, asphalt paving, construction, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of local, state, and federal driving regulations. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience working with various types of equipment and machinery. Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and job site conditions. Must pass a pre-employment background check, driving record review, and controlled substance/drug screening. Physical Requirements Regularly lift and move 50 to 100 pounds. Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Potential exposure to paint fumes, chemicals, traffic, and other construction hazards requiring personal protective equipment. Regularly work with hand tools, mechanical equipment, and machinery. Must possess a working mobile phone. Work Schedule Monday - Friday Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed. Must be willing to work overtime. Must be willing to travel when necessary. Job Type Full-Time Starting Pay Starting at $24.90 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
