Local Box Truck Driver (Class A Preferred

Apply online at https://l.tenstreet.com/KTAX A growing US Mail Hauler in the Western Region is looking for Box Truck Drivers with liftgate experience (Class A Preferred) in Gallup, NM with exposure to US Mail hauling and/or operations and experience driving under inclement weather conditions (snow, rain, wind etc.). QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licensing and Certifications :

Must be 25 years or older. Must have good driving record (MVR) Possession of a valid Commercial Class A Driver's License. 3 years or more of recent Class A driving experience. Must have exposure to inclement weather and use of snow chains.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Ability to pass USPS background check. Must submit to drug testing and a criminal background check. Ability to pass a DOT physical including functional capacity exam.

Daily Operational Detail:

Drive from Gallup, NM to Local Post offices and Chinle, AZ Driver shall start from company yard (s) to the distribution center and back Complete Pre and Post Inspections Load and unload Mail carts using a liftgate onto a Box Trucks Secure load with E straps Record Hours of Service on Samsara App Partial Team Driving (Stipend or Hourly for Passenger)

Schedule:

PT Average hours per week: 40-50 Average worked hour per day: 8-10 hours/day (Route specific) Shift examples: 6:00 AM to 4PM We work during Holidays. Holiday Pay + Trip Pay Trips run Monday to Saturday, Partial Team Driving No Overtime (Interstate Commerce)

Compensation:

Box Truck Driver (Class A Preferred): $29.11 + $5.86 in Benefit Pay (paid up to 40 hours per week) - Benefit Pay is used to offset monthly health insurance or 401K/ROTH premiums.
