Job Description
Water Truck Operator (CDL Required) - House, NM Moss United States, Mexico, House Jun 18, 2026 Moss Solar, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor of 2025, is hiring Water Truck Operators with a valid CDL to support our growing solar projects at the Windy Lane location within House/Portales/Clovis/Ft. Sumner, NM area. If you have experience operating commercial vehicles and can handle physical labor in various weather conditions, apply today!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a water truck to control dust and maintain site conditions on solar project sites
- Perform routine watering of roads, work areas, and excavation zones
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
- Maintain clear communication with site leadership and crew members
- Assist with general labor duties as needed, including site cleanup and material support
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies at all times
Requirements:
- Valid CDL required
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving or heavy equipment experience (construction or solar preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for 8+ hours a day
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme cold or heat)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
- Pre-employment drug test required
- Other duties as assigned
