Silver Recycling has been operating for over 100 years servicing the unique by-product needs of manufacturers in the southwest United States and Mexico. We are looking for an experienced truck driver at our Albuquerque site to serve our supply chain logistics and transportation departments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Knowledgeable and safe operation of assigned equipment according to WSR procedures Operate various types of trucks which may include but are not limited to Over the Road Tractors, Roll Offs and or Yard Dogs-spotting vehicles Conduct all required D.O.T. and or company required vehicle inspections and checks in the prescribed time frame Maintains daily logs and or any company required paperwork and submit to designated staff member Abide by company safety policy and pledges to respect coworkers, customers and the motoring public Perform as the face of the company when entering any customer site or location. Report any damage to company property of any kind Attend and complete training & certification as requested Physical Demands Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, climbs stairs, and moves continually during working hours. Is subject to lifting over 50 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend work is also necessary on a need basis. Required Education and Experience High school diploma 3 to 5 years of commercial truck driving Preferred Education and Experience Yard dog driver Additional Eligibility Qualifications None for this position .
