Job Description

Job Overview Duties will include general grounds keeping and janitorial duties within the Colonie Fire Company as well as perform equipment checks, and routine light maintenance on apparatus, equipment, building or grounds,, such as cleaning, painting and lubrication as necessary. Requirements Valid NYS driver's license, with a good driving record. High School Diploma, or any equivalent combination of experience and training to perform the work required. Maintain CPR/AED certification. Interior firefighter. Must have basic computer word-processing skills. Station attendant/Groundskeeper will report to and be directed by appointed representative of the Village board. Physical examination will be required at the Village of Colonie's expense. Must successfully complete any training as required by the Village of Colonie.
Pay:
From $20.60 per hour
