In this energetic role, you'll operate specialized tow trucks to assist stranded drivers, recover vehicles, and support roadside assistance efforts. Responsibilities Safely operate flatbed and tow trucks to recover, transport, and load vehicles of various sizes and types. Load and unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment such winches while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, ensuring positive resolutions during stressful roadside incidents. Maintain detailed logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle conditions for accurate record-keeping. Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure tow trucks are in optimal working condition. Requirements Valid driver's license with tow endorsement; experience driving tow trucks or similar heavy vehicles is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, manual transmissions, drivetrain as it relates to flatbed operation. Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform manual tasks, and work overnight shifts consistently.
