Box Truck Driver Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Box Truck Driver to manage material transfers between buildings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring all transfers are completed. This role demands a high level of efficiency while strictly adhering to workplace safety procedures. Responsibilities Ensure steady flow of material between facilities, meeting all service level agreements (SLAs) Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections before every transfer Ensure all vehicles are in proper operating order Move equipment between BR warehouses as needed Scan material being off-loaded at each facility Ensure all yard horses are fueled and in good working order Maintain vehicle maintenance schedules Work independently, self-managing with minimal supervision Operate jack and forklift to move equipment in/out of trailers Train new drivers during peak season as required Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned Maintain regular communication with all facilities to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth operations Respond promptly to emails concerning pick-up and production requests, providing timely follow-ups Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 5-7 years' experience in a fulfillment operation or similar related environment knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines Proficient in English; Spanish communication skills a plus Valid certified Forklift or Power Jack license Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license with clean driving record Comfortable sitting for long periods of time Flexibility in work schedule (production volumes may require weekends and holidays) Shift & Compensation Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Compensation:
