Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be crucial in ensuring the timely and safe delivery and pickup of our party rental equipment to and from event locations. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles (vans and/or trucks) to transport and set up party rental equipment, including but not limited to inflatables, tables, chairs, tents, games, and concession equipment. Load and unload equipment carefully and securely, ensuring no damage occurs during transport. Verify the accuracy of delivery and pickup orders against invoices and packing lists. Communicate effectively with customers upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service. Ensure customers understand the basic operation and safety guidelines for rented equipment. Complete delivery and pickup paperwork accurately and obtain necessary signatures. Perform routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, such as organizing equipment and preparing orders.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (must provide a recent driving abstract). Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with large or bulky items. Ability to safely operate vans and/or trucks (experience with larger vehicles is a plus). Excellent driving skills and a strong sense of responsibility on the road. Ability to read and understand maps, GPS navigation, and delivery routes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50-75 lbs on occasion) and work in various weather conditions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must be punctual and reliable. Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage, dependent on experience and driving record.
