Job Description

World Wide Plumbing Supply was established in 1991 with one goal: to serve our customers faithfully with a wide selection of merchandise and quick and reliable service in the tri-state area. If you are a CDL B licensed driver with experience making deliveries who is looking for a rewarding, local opportunity with an established company, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will serve our customers safely and on time.
Pay:
$25 - $30 Transport finished goods and raw materials Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Unloading and stocking building material as needed Checks clearances so that buildings, wires and the vehicle will not be damaged during operation. Maintains logs of delivery duties, mileage and locations of deliveries; check items against invoice or bill of lading. Obeying all regulatory agency and company safety directives Skills Proven work experience as a CDL B Driver Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Valid truck driving license Knowledge of safety procedures while performing driving and materials handling tasks Excellent customer service skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to read and understand maps, routes, road signs Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out route assignment
Clean Motor Vehicle Record Schedule:
Monday to Friday 5:30 am to 1:30 pm Must be willing to work overtime as needed Requirements for yes or no questions - Do you have a valid
