FedEx Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)

Bittner Enterprises, a privately-owned company that contracts with FedEx Ground, is currently seeking full-time Delivery Drivers in Cheektowaga, NY. We're looking for qualified drivers to deliver and pick up packages from local businesses and residences. You take pride in your work and value teamwork and reliability. Referral Program Responsibilities:

• Daily routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are that a driver will routinely perform a range of 90-150 stops a day, depending on the area
• Be on site at the branch terminal on time and ready to work your shift
• Consistently deliver your entire route in a timely manner and occasionally help fellow teammates when needed
• Operate vehicles in a safe manner, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report malfunctions and hazardous conditions to managers
• Perform daily Pre and Post Inspections on assigned vehicle and submit written report
• Efficiently load vehicle for delivery
• Safely operate scanner software and be able to follow GPS
• Observe all traffic laws and posted speed limits in accordance with DoT regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with operations team

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience within the last 3 years (moving van, bus, Uber, Lyft, Amazon, etc.)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record with no history of citations, moving violations or suspensions within the past 36 months
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and MVR check
• Must be able to pass a federal drug test and DOT physical (both paid for by FedEx)
• Must be able to complete and pass a road test
• Must have legal status to work in the United States
• Be able to read, speak, and write in English
• Physically willing and able to drive a P-1000 sized vehicle (Large Step Van) and safely deliver packages to both residential and commercial recipients. Must also be willing and able to lift up to 150lbs. (with the assistance of a dolly), climb stairs, deliver in inclement weather, and perform consistent physical movement
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
